8 Uses for EO® All Purpose Soap

I’m so excited to announce the return of our All Purpose Soap in Meyer Lemon. The choice to discontinue a product is not easy but, the choice to bring one back usually is. We consider you part of our family and value your feedback. With so many uses, the consensus on EO APS is clear! Here are some ways we love to use this big bottle of  happy scented magic:

  1. Laundry (high efficiency machines) and Hand Washing Delicates (Cashmere included)

Finding safe and efficient detergent for your family’s messes can be tough. EO APS is perfect for laundry. A medium load of laundry only needs about 2oz (two squeezes) of soap. Clothes, towels, and linens are left gently scented and, most importantly, clean. Delicates can be soaked in the sink with a squeeze in warm water and air dried.

  1. Dirty Dishes

One squeeze of APS in your dish water will take care of a batch of dirty dishes. For extra stubborn messes, soak in a sink full of hot water and half a squeeze of APS. Bring APS on your next camping trip—it’s easy on the environment too. Scrub those pots and pans while you rough it.

  1. BBQ Grills

Dilute 2oz (about two squeezes) of APS in a gallon of warm water. Scrub your grill with a hard bristled brush and watch last summer’s grease and grime rinse away easily. Yay summer!

  1. Surface Cleaner

No harsh chemicals needed! APS is made to be easy on skin but hard-working on stains and messes. Mix 2oz with warm water and clean countertops, tabletops, toilet tops, etc! Add 2oz of APS to water in a 16oz spray bottle and shake it up.

  1. Carpet Cleaner/Stain Remover

Hey, accidents happen. Dilute a squeeze of APS in warm water and gently scrub trouble spots on your carpet. Watch stubborn stains lift right out and smell the freshness return to your rugs and carpets. Got hardwood floors or tile? No problem. Add 3oz to a gallon of warm water and mop.

  1. Paint Brushes

Add 2oz to 16oz of warm water and soak your acrylic paint filled brushes for a few minutes. Work out any stuck on paint by hand or with a tough bristled brush and rinse with warm water. Your brushes are refreshed and ready for your next masterpiece.

  1. Car Wash

Add 3oz of APS to a gallon of water and gently wash your car’s exterior with a soft sponge meant for cleaning cars. APS works great on nasty hub caps too! Bring your spray bottle full of window cleaner with you and tackle those smudged windows and mirrors.

  1. Human Soap

Though this soap is effective at cleaning stubborn stains and messes, it’s also mild enough for your skin. We made sure the surfactant system is pH balanced so it’s easy on your skin and safe to use on your hands or as a shower gel. Pour into a recycled EO or Everyone soap bottle and leave it at your sinks for a lovely hand soap. Add a squeeze to a loofah, lather up, and enjoy clean, lightly scented skin.

I am so happy this soap is back! I love it so much. I use it on my laundry, especially for handwashing cashmere and other delicates. I also use it to wash my puppy, my carpet, my dishes, my windows….did I mention that I love this soap???
