DIY Project: Uplifting Essential Oil Room Spray
Looking for a natural room spray and coming up short in stores? No worries, we’ll show you how to make your own!
Essential oils are the natural alternative to cloying, overpowering fragrances found in most home products. This DIY essential oil room spray is made with a few simple ingredients and will make you feel better about spritzing your stale spaces.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
An empty spray bottle
2 oz. vodka (this will help the aromatherapy linger!)
6 oz. distilled water
48 drops Everyone Uplift
(We used an 8 oz. spray bottle. Remember to use the same ratios if you make a smaller or larger batch: 70% water, 20% vodka, and 10% essential oils.)
Here’s What To Do:
We’re tellin’ ya, this one’s easy. Combine all ingredients into a measuring cup, the spout will make it easier to transfer into a spray bottle. Pour into your spray bottle, replace the cap and shake vigorously. That’s it!
Give your bottle a good shake before each use. Spray as needed. Take a deep breath and let your mood and space be refreshed, naturally.
We love Uplift for its refreshing scent. A blend of pure Grapefruit, Orange, Cedarwood, Ylang Ylang, Frankincense, and Lavender essential oils, it’s the perfect pick-me-up for any space. But this recipe is super versatile, so find which essential oils and blends work best for you. Here are some alternative blends for your other spaces:
