DIY Thursday: Dead Skin Scrub
It’s the time of year in which we remember and celebrate the dead. What better way to bring this tradition into your home than with a DIY Dead Skin Scrub? As the seasons change, so does our skin, and winter can be especially hard on our bodies. Making sure our skin stays fresh and moisturized is important as we welcome the colder months.
This gentle scrub is great for softening stubborn skin on face, hands, and feet. Skin is left smooth, soft, and moisturized. It’s super easy to make, and only features three ingredients that you already have in your house.
Let’s get scrubbin’!
Here’s What You’ll Need
1/2 cup raw sugar
1/4 cup olive oil
6 to 8 drops of Everyone Eucalyptus essential oil*
Here’s What To Do
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Use a scoop at a time to massage hands, feet, and elbows (anywhere that’s a little rough around the edges). Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
Ahh… that feels better!
*Feel free to substitute any essential oil that you prefer! We picked Eucalyptus due to its refreshing and reviving effects on the senses. Other favorites include Lavender, Peppermint, or our Focus blend.
